Choices….

Choosing one of these is not as simple as just choosing the best. If that was the case then everyone would flock to the University of Capetown which would not work…

Universities are rated using numerous factors that try to summarize each University’s overall effectiveness. This however should only be a starting point in your search.

If I wanted to become a journalist then Rhodes University would be my first option….

If I wanted to become an accountant then Stellenbosch University would be my first option….

It differs for each field of study thus thorough research needs to be done before you make a final decision.

Other Considerations

  • Location. Studying far from home can be awesome for free spirited matriculants but also costly.
  • Bursaries. Some bursaries will only sponsor students attending certain institutions.
  • Global Accreditation. Make sure that the course you study is accredited globally at the University you plan on studying at….Do not assume that it is….

Most of All

Enjoy yourself!

University is challenging but also rewarding. The years spent will mould you into someone new that society can hopefully be proud of …. 🙂 South Africa needs young people filled with enthusiasm, ideas and guts…. So become one!
